A Little About Dale Earnhardt
	1975 - His first career Winston Cup start came in The World 600. He finished in 22nd place. 1979 - His first career Winston Cup victory came on April 1st at Bristol. In this year he was also named Winston Cup Rookie of the Year. 1980 - During his second full season he won his first Winston Cup Championship. 1986 - Dale won his second Winston Cup Championship. 1987 - He finished first in 11 races. Plus he won his 3rd Winston Cup Championship. 1990 - He won his 4th Winston Cup Championship. 1991 - He won his 5th Winston Cup Championship. 1993 - He won his 6th Winston Cup Championship. 1994 - Dale won his 7th and final Winston Cup Championship. 1997 - This was the first season in 15 years that Dale failed to win a single race. 1998 - In Dale's 20th attempt to win at the Daytona 500, he finally did it! 1999 - At the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte, Dale Sr. got to race against Dale Jr. for the first time in a Winston Cup Race. 2000 - Dale picked up his last win taking the Winston 500 at Talladega on October 15. 2001 - Made his last Winston Cup start in the Daytona 500.
